Mass shooting leaves 2 dead and 6 injured on the west side of Detroit, USA.

Six people were injured and two died after a mass shooting on the west side of Detroit on Sunday morning.
Police say the incident – in Coyle, near Plymouth – had to do with a dispute between neighbors and a car blocking a garage. A suspect was detained without incident by Detroit police.
The two people killed were a 39-year-old woman and a 38-year-old man.
DPD chief James White said the suspect – a man with a military background in his 30s – was well armed.
“They retrieved 11 guns – again, 11 guns – from this house that were strategically placed throughout the house so that he would move around the house, he would have access to these weapons.”
White says people need to find solutions to problems without using violence.
“The levels of crime we are seeing in our city are unacceptable,” White said. “This country’s obsession with guns and mass shootings. And it’s just unacceptable and we can do better and we have to do better. And I’m not going to get on a political platform about guns. It’s not about weapons. It’s about using weapons to make bad choices and bad decisions that we’ve seen.”
It was a violent weekend in Detroit – with seven people killed and 24 others injured in a series of city-wide shootings.
