How fast she decided to kill her self too.. Must be instant regred if her brother did not die. Hahaha…
ST. LOUIS (SBG) – Two children are dead after one accidentally shot and killed the other before killing herself. The tragedy happened while the kids were playing with a gun during an Instagram Live.
The shootings happened at an apartment in St. Louis Friday. Police say 12-year-old Paris Harvey shot her cousin, Kuaron Harvey, before shooting herself. They initially called the incident a murder-suicide, but Paris’ mother disagrees.
“It was no murder. It wasn’t a suicide. It was a freak accident. It happened,” Shinise Harvey told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
Family said Paris and Kuaron were close and were often making videos together and pulling pranks.
Paris’ grandmother, Susan Dyson, told the Post-Dispatch said the family had rented the apartment to celebrate March birthdays. The children were in the bathroom livestreaming when the gun went off. Family said after Kuaron was shot, Paris was seen in the video reaching for the gun and then it went off again, possibly by accident. They believe the gun belonged to Kuaron.
“It wasn’t a situation where they were arguing or anything like that. They were playing with the gun when they shouldn’t have been. Of course, they shouldn’t have been doing it. I think it just went off. It went off by mistake,” Dyson said.
Thank you for adding this!
No. A modern handgun will not “accidentally go off.” There must be conscious effort put in to make a firearm fire. At the very least, voluntary manslaughter followed by a suicide. She knowingly put a loaded firearm against someone’s head and then weapon discharged when enough pressure was applied to the trigger to get through the slop and creep of the trigger and break the wall, causing the trigger bar to do its thing and raise the gate for the hammer to fall (in this case a striker. Fucking Glock.), hit the primer with the firing pin, and well, you saw what happened. This is 100% the result of not respecting the weapon and not following gun safety. How did a 12 year-old have that much access to a firearm? The parents are at fault here too. Both sets. Not once did either kid say “this shit is dangerous.” or anything like it. Money says though, they blame the gun and not the dumb bitch who had it in her hands.
“accidently” my ass, she literally pulled the trigger
titktok videos: turst me bro
The moral of this story is, must teach children. Even it was a toy gun, toy arrow, toy slingshot, etc, do not point it to somebody, especially head, eyes, mouth, body. Why not point it to wall or something not alive.
can common sense be taught tho?
in the absence of common sense, fear will do. It’s so important to teach how dangerous guns can be.
Yeah, I agree. If youre too stupid to respect a firearm for what it is, I’ll take a fear response instead. Means they won’t go near it. Lets be real though. Guns are inanimate objects. They can do nothing in their own. They aren’t dangerous if you respect them. I can leave my rifle on my porch all day and it will have shot exactly 0 people of its own accord. I can’t say the same for the Honda Accord sitting in my driveway not running someone over. The brakes are fucked. I bring guns with me to work and wouldn’t ya know it, they stay in the holster until I draw one. Don’t let the fearful and the cowardly destroy your right (if you live in 1 of 3 countries) to keep and bear arms.
YES! The loudest shot you’ll ever hear is the one you don’t expect, even if the mag is empty, safety is on, NEVER point a gun at another person, NEVER even joke about it. The loudest shot you’ll ever hear is the one you don’t expect!
Pretty good chance you wouldn’t know you heard it since part of your brain will be on the wall to the opposite side the bullet came in at.
Violation of rule 4. Know your target and what lies beyond it. Not even kidding. 4 very easy to follow rules and no one that doesn’t deserve to get shot is going to get shot.
1. Treat every firearm as if it’s loaded. Even if you know it isn’t.
2. Keep your finger off the trigger until you’re ready to fire.
3. Never aim at something you’re not willing to destroy.
4. Know your target and what lies beyond it.
You are responsible for every round you fire. If you’re loaded with FMJs, theres a VERY high chance you overpenetrate your target and hit something or someone else too. Hollowpoints essentially remove that risk. The entire idea behind a hollowpoint is to maximize the damage done to the intended target and only the intended target. Hollowpoints very rarely over penetrate. It can happen in your slower bullets like .38 special, .380ACP, .22lr, .45ACP. This happens because those bullets rarely reach their expansion threshold velocity. The faster you get a bullet traveling, the better the expansion. To a point. Get it going too fast and it just explodes as it leaves the barrel. Making your handgun a very short range shotgun.
she did the right thing…. imagine living your whole life knowing you blew your brotheres brins out??? poor family tho… but hey.. that’s life!
Thought they were cousins. Still, at 12 years old? The parents should be arrested and charged something for stupidity. Who the fuck leaves a loaded firearm, with a 50 round drum magazine I might add, around for anyone to just pick up? Who does that? 🤦♂️ 2 dead kids now because mom or dad couldn’t be bothered to to to the sheriff’s office to get a free slide lock. They’re FREE at the sheriff’s office! There’s no excuse to not have one in each firearm not currently in your person. None. They’re FUCKING FREE!!!
True American hero.
I call that a problem solving itself
Category: Assassination
😂 😂
I don’t think she assassinated her cousin. Lmao. Can you imagine? Couple kids at the lockers “Yo, fuck that Dereck kid. Yo Jewels, you gotta do it. He’s your cousin.” “Fine, but, I’m shooting myself too.” “You do you fam.”
why didn’t they show it?
Camera angle. That’s why.
I know this is really late but, Condolences to their family. A tragedy that did not need to happen.
why did she even shoot her brother in the first place.
She was flexing, acting cool, holding the gun to her cousin’s head with her finger on the trigger. Darwin award here! All jokes aside, don’t even point a gun at someone even if the gun is safety-on, no bullets chambers, no mag in the gun, STILL JUST DON’T POINT THE FUCKING GUN AT SOMEONE!
No, a Darwin Award is when you remove yourself from the gene pool. It’s called murder if you do it too someone else.
Women ☕
You’re not wrong.
Sad.
I wish this family nothing but peace, what an awful tragedy.
Just imagine how much tax money was saved in 5 seconds – wow!
Facts! Don’t need dumb ass mfrs like that in the world…parents should have gotten charged with murder letting that happen with they kids🤷🏻♂️
I’ve never heard so much noise and commotion in my life
Watch an episode of the Steve Wilkos show. Lmao
lol
put the fuckin safety if ur gonna play with guns like this which you shouldnt even do in the first place 😱
That’s a Glock. They don’t have external safety switches. Even if it did, you nailed it in the head. Don’t do stupid shit like that.
Were they even speaking English?
In most jurisdictions, pointing a gun at someone’s head and pulling the trigger is classified as murder by reckless indifference. That was no accident. The gun didn’t “go off”. She had her finger on the trigger. Paris Harvey murdered that boy.
Thank you. Fucking Hell.
2 gun safety rules violated and 2 dead idiots. Now kids, what 2 rules of firearm safety did she violate? If you said her finger was on the trigger when she wasn’t ready to shoot and never point at firearm at something you’re not willing to destroy, you’re right! She could have just shot herself and left her cousin alone.
