Influencer killed after Mercedes hits pedestrians outside Soho nightclub in London, UK.
NEWS:
Klaudia Zakrzewska, a 32-year-old social media influencer known online as Klaudiaglam, died after being hit by a car outside a nightclub in Soho, London, in an incident captured on video and later confirmed in a police death update.
The incident happened on Argyll Street, near Oxford Street, in the early hours of Sunday, April 19, 2026. Zakrzewska, from Essex, was taken to hospital after the crash and was pronounced dead on Saturday, April 25.
Video footage circulated online shows a woman getting into a black car before the vehicle drives forward into pedestrians outside the nightclub. Zakrzewska is struck and goes under the vehicle. The footage directly shows the car hitting people in the street, but it does not establish the full context before the impact, the motive, or what any person intended before the car moved.
Gabrielle Carrington, 29, of Broadfield Road, Manchester, was charged on Monday, April 20, with attempted murder, grievous bodily harm with intent, actual bodily harm, dangerous driving and drink driving. Police said that after Zakrzewska’s death, the attempted murder charge would be amended to murder.
Carrington appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, April 21, and was remanded in custody. She was next due to appear at the Old Bailey on Tuesday, May 19. No public record reviewed for this article confirmed the final outcome of that listed Old Bailey hearing.
The police death update confirmed that a 58-year-old man also suffered life-changing injuries in the incident. Earlier police and court accounts said another woman in her 30s suffered minor injuries. Court accounts also said Carrington was accused of causing injuries to a third woman and a security guard, in addition to the allegation involving Zakrzewska.
At the first court appearance, prosecutors described a chaotic scene after emergency services were called to Argyll Street. The court was told that police and ambulance crews attended after reports that a woman had been run over. The court account said many people in the area had been at a nearby nightclub, including security staff.
The court was also told that the full extent of the incident was not immediately appreciated when officers arrived. Prosecutors said the vehicle reversed as Zakrzewska emerged from under it. That detail comes from the court account, while the publicly circulated footage directly shows the vehicle moving into pedestrians and Zakrzewska going under the car.
Carrington is a former X Factor finalist who appeared in 2013 as a member of the girl group Miss Dynamix. She is also a social media influencer known online as RIELLEUK. Zakrzewska had a large social media following on TikTok and Instagram under the Klaudiaglam name.
Police urged the public not to share graphic footage of the crash, saying the circulation of such material could affect the criminal investigation and potentially prejudice future court proceedings. The police also asked people to avoid speculation around the case.
The facts confirmed by police are that Zakrzewska was involved in a collision on Argyll Street in the early hours of April 19, was taken to hospital, and died on April 25. Carrington was charged with serious offenses before Zakrzewska’s death, and police said the attempted murder count would be amended to murder after the death.
The video confirms the violent impact itself. It shows a car driving into pedestrians outside the Soho nightclub and Zakrzewska going under the vehicle. It does not, by itself, prove the events that led up to the confrontation, any earlier dispute, or the legal question of intent. Those issues remain matters for the criminal case and the court record.
