I come through this online letter to inform you a little about the reason why the site is stopped at the moment.

The main reason for the downtime is that we have a very small team of volunteers who help maintain the site. Pretty much I, Dark Gore, am the only active contributor right now.

I say active because Tifa Winters and the site’s founders are not as enthusiastic as they once were. As a result, I’m working alone to keep the site up to date and other things like improvements and bug fixing.

I don’t have a lot of free time and in the last month I’ve spent more time playing video games in my spare time than working on the website. Anyway, that’s life!

In these last few days I implemented an instant messaging and chat system on the site. Therefore, any user can communicate with any other user of the site, chatting in the best friendship chat style. It’s not a big deal, but now if you, a registered and logged in user, want to talk to an up loader or another member of the site, for example, just access the profile of that user in question and send a message to him/her, which will be notified by email. And they will be able to enter the system and chat with you. Very similar to a social network. I’m thinking of implementing a forum and so on soon.

I’m thinking of talking to the founders about allowing some users to be able to post videos on the site without being reviewed. That way, when that user finishes uploading the video, it will already be available for viewing on the portal.

I already have something in mind, now it is enough for qualified users to demonstrate by actions that they are responsible for having this privilege, always making good titles, descriptions and good thumbs up, following the rules of the community. Maybe we’ll see what the future holds, it will depend on each author following the rules and having that privilege.

As for the rest, now that I’ve finished the game, maybe I’ll come back with the daily updates on the website, I don’t know.
