An 11-year-old boy riding a bicycle and a 38-year-old motorcyclist were killed in a violent collision at a marked crosswalk in Siversky, in Russia’s Leningrad region, on May 10, 2026.
Video of the fatal motorcycle crash records the child riding his bicycle across the roadway at the crosswalk. A motorcycle traveling along the road strikes the boy and his bicycle. The motorcycle then continues away from the point of impact and crashes into a roadside pole.

The Honda motorcycle struck the child before its rider lost control and hit the pole. Both the boy and the motorcyclist died at the scene from their injuries, according to the regional police statement.
Authorities did not publicly identify either victim by name in the information released after the crash.
Traffic officers determined that the 38-year-old rider did not hold the Category A license required to legally operate a motorcycle in Russia. Police also said he had received 19 traffic citations during 2025 and 2026.
