Night on Chicago Street Takeover turns deadly in the US.

Chicago police reported this past Tuesday, May 7, 2024, that a man was shot and killed during a street invasion in the city’s southwest over the weekend.
Investigators said the 20-year-old victim was in a black Honda Accord on 59th Street, near Western Avenue – on the border of the Gage Park and Chicago Lawn neighborhoods – when the street occupation was underway.
He was trying to leave the intersection when someone fired several shots.
Citizen app video captured the incident and its aftermath.
Chicago Police detectives are asking anyone with additional photos or videos to call them.
