Brazil – The Civil Police of Pará is investigating a case of the beating of a woman who was filmed being beaten with wooden blows by a group of men at a dump in Tapanã, in Belém.
At least five men appear in the images, while a sixth films everything with a cell phone.
The crime would have occurred on Wednesday (20/07), allegedly with the participation of members of the criminal faction “Comando Vermelho”. The main line of investigation points to a “settling of scores” related to drug trafficking.
Over the course of yesterday, the Military Police carried out investigations in the region to locate and arrest the suspects, and in the afternoon three suspects involved in the crime exchanged shots with police officers from the 24th BPM.
According to the authorities, the criminals escaped into Infraero’s forests and started shooting at the police, which retaliated and killed 2. A third bandit was shot and is in the ICU.
Weapons and a certain amount of drugs were seized from them.
Until the publication of this text, the police were at the scene trying to capture the other suspects in the participation in the beating of the woman.
