Azerbaijan Airlines plane crashes near Aktau airport in Kazakhstan.

The destroyed tail of the plane could be seen at the crash site as emergency services worked to extinguish a fire. Dozens of people have died after a passenger plane carrying 67 people crashed in Kazakhstan, the country’s emergency ministry said.

Authorities say 28 people survived the Christmas morning crash, including two children.
