A 6-year-old child was critically injured after a box truck hit him when he ran onto a road in Wonosobo, Central Java, Indonesia, in a crash captured by CCTV.
The crash happened Wednesday, April 8, 2026, on the Kertek-Selomerto road, near GOR Semayu, in Wonosobo Regency. The video shows the child running out from a building area toward the road as traffic moves past. A young man nearby sees the danger and runs after him, but he cannot reach the child before the truck arrives.
The footage shows the box truck striking the child on the roadway. The impact throws him onto the asphalt. People nearby then move toward the scene to help.
