A 35-year-old man was shot dead after confronting two armed motorcycle robbers during a street robbery in Shah Latif Town, Karachi, Pakistan, on May 20, 2026.
The victim was identified as Shahzaib Ali. Police said he was sitting outside his home near Minhajul Quran Masjid in Sector A-17 when two armed men riding a motorcycle arrived on the street.
CCTV footage published with this article records the robbery and shooting directly. The video shows the two robbers stopping near people on the street. One of the gunmen takes a mobile phone from a young man.
Shahzaib, who is seated nearby, gets up and moves toward the robbers. One of the armed men then fires at him. Shahzaib collapses to the ground as the two assailants leave the scene on the motorcycle.
