16-year-old boy is shot in the head and killed in broad daylight in Manhattan.

A 16-year-old boy was shot in the head in midtown Manhattan on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, authorities said.
A suspect fled on a Citibike after the shooting, which occurred shortly before 2:30 p.m., according to the New York Post.
The teen was rushed to Bellevue Hospital, where he died, an NYPD spokesperson said.
Officers arrived at the scene, near the Dominick Hotel, after receiving a 911 call and found the victim unconscious.
He had also been shot in the thigh, according to the NYPD.
Police are currently searching for at least two suspects.
No arrests have been made to date.
