A wedding photographer was killed after a speeding car struck him while he was filming a bride's farewell outside a wedding venue in Sirsa, Haryana, India. The fatal collision happened on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, on Hisar Road near the Sirsa bus terminus.

CCTV footage records the photographer standing in the roadway with his camera pointed toward members of the wedding party as they leave the venue. A light-colored hatchback approaches rapidly from behind and hits him. The collision throws his body into the air and sends him a considerable distance along the road. The video directly establishes the impact and the photographer's position when he was struck.

Police identified the victim as Malkit. Some reports also identified him as Ajay Kumar and said he was from Abholi village in the Rania area of Sirsa district. His age was reported inconsistently.
