Body is found dismembered in the Cassange neighborhood, in Salvador, Brazil.

The body of a 24-year-old young man was found dismembered on the night of this Thursday (16), 16/05/2024, in the Cassange neighborhood, in Salvador.
The victim was identified as Thiago Tavares dos Santos, 24 years old, missing since Wednesday (15), when he went through a psychotic episode, in Cajazeiras, where he lived.
According to family members, Thiago Tavares left home aimlessly and the family looked for him in Cassange, which is in the same region.
According to the Military Police, the body parts were found in a bag, on the banks of Avenida Aliomar Baleeiro, known as Estrada Velha do Aeroporto, in honor of the municipality known as Alto do Cajá.
According to Thiago Tavares’ family, the young man accidentally entered Cassange, where he was kidnapped by drug traffickers. In the video that circulated on social media, Thursday (16), the victim was seen sitting on the floor with her hands tied.
