A man, identified only as Romualdo, is suspected of raping a girl in the Nova Esperança 2 neighborhood, west of Manaus. He was brutally beaten and had his face disfigured by neighbors. The residents beat him with pieces of wood and stones. The man sat in agony sitting on a wall, but minutes later he died at the scene.
