The images are from November 2, 2017, when hundreds of protesters occupied two farms in Correntina, in western Bahia, Brazil. They protested the use of the Arrojado River to irrigate large properties in the region. The images of the protest show men tearing down energy poles and burning facilities at Fazenda Rio Claro, owned by Lavoura e Pecuária Igarashi Ltda.
