Protesters destroying power station in Brazil.

December 1, 2020

First of all, I would like to say that I got the word in the title wrong. Originally, this post was released with the word “Protestants” instead of “Protesters” in the title. We’ll fix everything soon, sorry.

NEWS

The images are from November 2, 2017, when hundreds of protesters occupied two farms in Correntina, in western Bahia, Brazil. They protested the use of the Arrojado River to irrigate large properties in the region. The images of the protest show men tearing down energy poles and burning facilities at Fazenda Rio Claro, owned by Lavoura e Pecuária Igarashi Ltda.

Fuckers will be ranting and complaining when their lights and TV don’t come on. I was expecting a religious thing when I saw ‘Protestants’; obviously meant to say ‘Protesters’……not that it makes the slightest fucking difference, I’m just a pedantic old git.

No problem at all – I didn’t mean to criticise, just trying to help. Sorry!

No worries; as I said previously, I wasn’t criticising – I was already pretty sure it was probably just a ‘typo’ or something, and now that you’ve explained that English Isn’t your first language, I can see how very similar those two words must be to you – as “Protest” Is the main aspect of both words It’s understandable that you connect the two. My apologies again.
