The pig’s life is not easy, it sucks!
I’m no vegan pussy or anything like that – I’m a meat eater. Human beings have evolved through eating meat for over a million years, and relied on it as well as animal skins, bone, sinew, horn and hoof – but hunter/gatherers caught only what was needed and were entirely sustainable; the creatures they hunted led free and unfettered lives and only a tiny percentage of animal populations were killed- and before humans populated practically the whole world, most never faced being hunted as there were no human predators in many lands. Our ancient ancestors all lived nomadic lives; there were no cities, towns or even villages; we all moved as the seasons progressed – consequently, no area was ever ‘overused’.
Today, these animals are less than slaves; sentient beings who’s short lives are miserable in the extreme; and of course, It doesn’t stop at pigs – chickens, cattle, sheep, farmed fish…..there’s no end to the creatures we have turned into that which is nothing more than a ‘food crop’, where even the few laws which exist to secure the animals so-called welfare are not adhered to, even here in the UK. Law on paper is all it is; and even if they were, they fall well short of the minimum requirements for humanitarian treatment.
‘Fast food’ outlets, created and championed by the USA, are the main culprits, especially for the suffering of chickens and cows. If the sale of farmed meat was restricted to what we can buy and cook for ourselves at home, the consumption of animals would drop massively and enable the ‘farmers’ to devote more time to the animals welfare and perhaps use some of their land for more agriculture. Consider also the massive areas of Amazonian forest, and elsewhere, which are being destroyed as we speak to create grazing land for our greedy consumption and to make billions for the corporations. We the public could pay a little extra for our meat to cover the costs of the treatment these animals deserve. Let them live happily for a time (dependent of course on the average lifespan of the particular creature in question). Anyone who’s ever worked in a ‘meat processing plant’, regardless of the creatures involved, will well know how the ‘production line mentality’ has gotten a grip; the workers are brainwashed into seeing their victims as nothing more than a product and have no concern; this is why each part of the ‘process’ is kept completely separate; those who catch chickens, for example, pass them in bulk cages to the next building; there, the birds are quickly killed and passed again to the next section…..until finally, the butchers (who create the various parts, such as whole, half, breast, legs, wings) see only a clean, de-feathered carcass which, perhaps understandably, leaves them devoid of empathy because all they see is a product. Again, I enjoy eating meat and to suggest that the entire human race could exist without it is nonsense. But what we see here and elsewhere is no different to the actions of the cartels & others on their own fellow humans! But imagine how many animals are being brutalised and killed every second of every day, year after year? Regardless of how much meat you eat dudes, enjoy – but try to hunt your own, trap your own, or buy from some outlet who give the animals some respect – don’t be part of the factory meat industry which lines the pockets of the ignorant rich.
Totally agree with you
Thanks, Tracey; your reply Is very much appreciated. It means a lot! ????

_cfduid
The _cfduid cookie helps Cloudflare detect malicious visitors to our Customers’ websites and minimizes blocking legitimate users. It may be placed on the devices of our customers’ End Users to identify individual clients behind a shared IP address and apply security settings on a per-client basis. It is necessary for supporting Cloudflare’s security features.
Privacy and the _cfduid cookie
The _cfduid cookie collects and anonymizes End User IP addresses using a one-way hash of certain values so they cannot be personally identified. The cookie is a session cookie that expires after 30 days.
The _cfduid cookie does not:
allow for cross-site tracking,
follow users from site to site by merging various _cfduid identifiers into a profile, or
correspond to any user ID in a Customer’s web application.
Generally, Cloudflare keeps user-level data (including the IP address of a requester) for less than 24 hours for domains in the Free, Pro and Business plans, and up to seven (7) days for Enterprise domains that have enabled Cloudflare Logs (formerly Enterprise LogShare or ELS). There may be exceptions with IP addresses that have triggered security alerts. You can find more information about what Cloudflare logs in this blog post.
Cloudflare has no control over how long a Customer may store downloaded Cloudflare Logs in their networks. Regarding any information that may live in cached content on our edge servers, our Customers control what data should be cached and for how long.

This encrypted file contains Cloudflare’s proprietary bot score and helps manage incoming traffic that matches specific criteria.
Cloudflare places the _cf_bm cookie on the devices of our Customers’ End Users when End Users visit Customer sites that are using Cloudflare Bot Management. If the End User passes a challenge, the cookie prevents additional challenges for up to 30 minutes. This cookie is a session cookie that lasts for up to 30 minutes from the time an End User connects with the site.

The PHPSESSID cookie is native to PHP and enables websites to store serialized state data. As the PHPSESSID cookie has no timed expiry, it disappears when the client is closed.
